Wow, I've never seen that Boker. I guess the scales were added later or are they the original scales covered in metal?

As far as I know they are the original scales. The scales are metal with inserts. The inserts have shrunk over time and split at the pins. This razor is one of my favorites. It hones up really sharp and the weight is perfect for me.
