I have tried a half a dozen or so Mama Bear soaps plus some other glycerin based soaps. Try as I may, these soaps (I think they are referred to as "melt and pour?) just do not work for me. Wish they did because Mama Bear has some great smelling soaps .
Agreed -I really wanted to like Mama's soaps, but just didn't find the cushion I was looking for. But, she has marvelous scents and is always innovating! It is a quality product, just not quite right for me.
When I started wetshaving 4 years ago or so these soaps were all the rage (but so were Derby's). I don't see them get mentioned that often anymore.
Not sure as to the truth of the following statement but I remember reading somewhere that glycerin soaps are moisturizing in humid climates and drying in dry climates.
