How's Your Day? - January 2014

I had a lovely day. I worked on a coal boiler. That's right a coal boiler, that's what the majority of my works' boilers run on. You can imagine how clean that is.

 

Clearly a use of the word "clean" with which I was not previously familiar.
There is heavy snow here & thankfully, schools are closed.

 

Same here... it's a Penguin's Paradise.

 

Snow started around 6 last night, finished up about 12 hours later. We got about 8 inches, not too bad. I was out at 5:30 this morning to clear it all away.
Now come the winds!

 

Looks like we go about 6" of snow here. It seems to have stopped, but we still have high wind & very cold temps.

 

Update from Canada... Limecat is doing much better (thank God!). Still in the hospital and getting medication, but is now fully off sedation. He also needs to catch up on quality sleep, but things are definitely going the right direction.

 

That is good news indeed!

I was such a chubby little guy.

 

Spent the day trying to remember it's not Tuesday (and trying to get Rihanna's 'Diamonds' out of my head).

 

I find the easiest way to get Rihanna out of my head is to not listen to her music in the first place.
(or you can just start singing to the song in your head and hope it gets out that way)

 

Did you at least get some work done today?

 

I've actually had a relatively productive day so far. Things are still slow at my office at the moment, so considering the season it's been okay.

 

My day has been uneventful. The weather is nice! I've got a major headache.. Bought a razor, cream and aftershave today. Spending money always makes me feel better..
