I began my wet shaving journey with Proraso Red.
Tried the Green this morning. It does remind me of the Noxema days of my youth. Not necessarily bad, but I'll probably reserve it for the warmer summer months… (yes I know I live in Florida and its 50 degrees in the morning… my blood has thinned from my years in Ohio, but still)

Proraso sets the standard for price/performance IMO.

They should make a sampler pack of all the Prorasso scents. That would be awesome. I love the Prorasso green and it looks like it will last forever. I want to try the white but I wont need a tub for a few months. I cant't convince myself to buy anything else when I have a full tub of prorasso green and a puck of Van Der Hagen to use up.

Give it time.... ;) I used to think that way now I have a medicine cabinet and a drawer full of soaps and creams.

I wish I could use Proraso Green, but the eucalyptus irritates my skin.

I have both the green and white tubs. They weren't my favorite, so I haven't used them in several months so maybe it is time to revisit them.!

Try it. You will like (love) it. I use my red tub not often what's a big mistake. The scent is fantastic and the lather explodes after a few seconds.

There should be an Aftershave from Proraso with exactly this scent. Wow!!!

IMHO, Proraso soaps are very nice and a great value. You can find this product at some shops as low as $8.00 w/free shipping. Quite a bargain for a soap of this quality.

I know. :( but at least I can use Palmolive Menthol, which is way better IMO.

Try it out sometime. You'll reach for it more than Proraso if you get some.

Have both the green and white with their respective aftershaves work great on me. Currently I am using the white shave balm with aloe and vit e during the winter and it has been helping big time. It does provide a very slick surface.
