2nd & 3rd 2014 aquisitions. 1930's NEW Bar Handle Short Comb (B/S/T) 1950 Birth Year Super Speed-I have been looking for one of these for a while now. I have my Birth Year Tech.

The Shavecraft 101: What a fantastic razor. I bought the "blemished" Version. But i have to say,that there is NOTHING on my razor.I held it under my magnifier and there was nothing. Absolute fantastic quality which lasts a lifetime (and more). If you have the chance to get one,DO IT!!! It´s a very very gentle,but thoroughly razor which brings you a lot of fun shaving with it. It looks great,shaves brilliant. What do i want more?!
Am I seeing that right, one side is open comb, the other side is closed? Interesting. Who would have thought an OC could be gentle.
Yeah,you are right.One OC one CC side. You don´t even notice a big difference between both sides. I use the OC side for the 1st pass (with the grain) and the CC for the 2nd and 3rd pass (across and against). It´s really really gentle. A razor to shave with if you have a jumpstart in the morning. You can´t do nothing wrong with it. I can´t imagine that you could cut yourself with it...hard to imagine...
After just one use, I must say I'm very pleased. Despite its relatively short loft (~48mm) and ample backbone, it does have very good flow through and gentle tips, which I believe will become even gentler as it breaks in.
