I'm not a cream guy either, but some that I have used and liked were MEM (both regular and olive),C.O. Bigelow and Herbs of Bulgara.....I absolutely love Arko stick, but I've not yet tried the cream version..
Arko creams smell fantastic and lather very easily. It feels like stealing when you actually look at the pricetag.
All my creams are my favorite, does that answer the question . But! If i had to choose out of the creams i have right now, bases on performance would be a toss up between Taylor of Old Bond Street and Yardley.
Martin de Candre, its the only soap you can do a 6 second load and get 3+ passes with. Fantastic soap.
Oh my God - this stuff is wonderful. I still have several tubes, but they're for myself. I'm not selling or trading them.
This stuff is like heaven once you get the lathering dialed in. It has an old school medicinal smell and a very pleasant menthol kick. They never should have stopped making it... Maybe Joanna can recreate something like it. It won't be the same, but at this point who cares?!
Did the shave cream have the scent of the Noxema cream they sell now in the blue tub? Has a e'lyptus scent. I like that.
I will have to second the vote for Kiss My Face. I find it to be fantastic. I have only used 7 shave creams so I am no expert. This is the perfect combination of low price and great quality shave.
These three worked the best for me, in no particular order: Art of Shaving Kiss My Face Godrej If I had to pick one, irrespective of price, it would be the Art of Shaving. The scent on all their creams is fantastic, and they work as well or better than anything else I have tried. When taking price into account, Kiss My Face and Godrej tie for the top spot.
Truefitt & Hill N° 10... believe me, is something superior... and has a very good price for what you get
