I hate to interrupt this, but I have to tell you about my new stash!! Just received this afternoon, from Raf, my Secret Santa!

Florena, Wars, Palmolive and two hand made cold process tallow-based soaps that he and Mike have been making for a while. The lighter colored one is Lavender bath soap, the other is Goat Milk with Shea and Cocoa butter and can be used as a shaving soap. Raf says that adding a little shave cream will make a great superlather. Can't wait to try it!! Thanks so much, Raf!! And Merry Christmas!!!

Oh, I think it will stay until he admits he could never replace me. ;)

Like they say in the business world, everybody is replaceable. :D

I got my Secret Santa package today.

    Pre de Provence Shave Soap
Savon a Barbe Institut Karite Shave Soap

    Woo Hoo!

I have the Shipping Address from where it was sent but have no clue who it's from. Thank YOU whomever you are.

I'm getting a little worried that my gift didn't make it yet. Should have been there by now. :(

I got mine yesterday :) The wife already put everything away though, so I don't have any pics

Got some chocolate dipped pretzels and marshmallows... mmmm...

    A cool christmas mug

Wonderful bath salts (I wish we had a tub big enough to take a bath in!)

A mix of about 8 soaps, some olive oil, some shea butter... all great smelling!

All the soaps are made by some "Susie" lady... not sure who the secret santa is

    Thanks so much!!!

If I can I'll gather everything back up again and snap a photo

I hope you like it Rich, your pretty hard to shop for considering you pretty much have everything....The Institut Karite Soap is very nice :), Pre de Provence is great as well.

When I was looking at the list of SS participants earlier, of all the people on it, Rich was the ONLY one I knew immediately what I would get if I drew his name. A big honkin' Griswold antique cast iron frying pan! He might already have one, but you can never have too many! Not shaving-related? Ok, so use it as a lather bowl! :D

That was my 2nd choice, but I knew he needed to try the Institut Karite :)

Thank you very much Neale. I'm sure I will. Both look good on paper and people have been saying good things about them. I opened them up last night and was sniffing them. So far so good. :D

Everything? Hardly! I have not yet begun to shop!!! :p Which reminds me. I have a razor reference book lost in the mail I need to bug somebody about and a very old Wilkinson 3-Day Razor Set that a friend found at an antique shop that I need to clean up. Dang.

Since it appears that Secret Santa's are not really a secret, I would like my new custom title now please "VERY slick and sharp") ;)

    By TJ:

Somebody (my Secret Santa, still unknown) has just spoiled and embarrassed me, all in one fell-swoop Whomever did this is VERY slick and sharp.....because although I have never outright said it (not that I know of), Castle Forbes Lime is one of the only top-shelf creams I haven't used.......and interestingly the only one I would have tried.

    Christmas Time is here

I love presents!!!!! I returned home today from the drudgery of the grind and much to my surprise, a red white and blue priority mail package sitting on my desk. My Secret Santa obviously search the forum for posts and when I opened my box, I was so happy to find a QED Bay Rum Soap and a Castle Forbes Lavender Shave Cream cozily packed amongst the festive shredder remains. Thank you secret santa. I believe I know who you are and will Pm you. This is awesome. QED and Castle Forbes, I must have been a very good boy.

Merry Christmas to all, and to all a good night.
