Received my lovely 1914 in the mail today and shaved with it as soon as I cleaned it. Wow! New favorite razor. Love the feel and sound of this bad boy. And it's in great shape too.

 

Wow I can just imagine the blade exposure!

 

Whoa....she is a charmer....Look man! She's is a nice one I can tell; a sexy little beast, but a nice one....So treat her good and she'll take care of you....

It's loaded up and ready to go. I am an afternoon/evening shaver, so I am as excited and a kid at Christmas. Here's my setup for today.

First Shave: Today, I had my first shave with this 50+ year old experienced razor. The Van Der Hagen Luxury Shave Soap face lathered well with the Frank Shaving finest badger. I did two passes and some touch ups on the neck with the Eversharp Hydro-Magic and Schick stainless blade. The razor handled wonderfully. The size and shape of the handle seemed very ergonomic to me. A cold water rinse followed by Thayers Cucumber WH and Family Dollar Old Spice AS left me clean, smooth, and refreshed. Very nice...

 

Even though my new old Eversharp Hydro-Magic was beat up and well used, it delivered a great shave after its cleaning. I can see how it could be dubbed "favoritest" among your injectors.

Yup. Pretty aggressive. If not careful, she'll nick that corner of your nostril something fierce!

 

That exposure is ridiculous! Looks to be even greater than the '24. I have to get one now
