WOOT :: ::git :happy108 Somebody (my Secret Santa, still unknown) has just spoiled and embarrassed me, all in one fell-swoop :rofl Whomever did this is VERY slick and sharp.....because although I have never outright said it (not that I know of), Castle Forbes Lime is one of the only top-shelf creams I haven't used.......and interestingly the only one I would have tried. :: I had actually felt sorry for my Secret Santa, because I am so damn picky; but this is incredible! I am thrilled THANK YOU :1respect
And how do you know you won't, my dear! Unless it's Isaac and whatever he ordered will be late! :rofl
are we not suppose to say who sent what? I thought a secret santa was a person that secretly gets you a gift..then you find out.
Hi Trader Joe, I just shaved with the Lavender Flavored CF yesterday. It was a mighty tasty shave :drool Enjoy that stuff. Steve
I was in Las Vegas this week. I picked up a puck of Penhaligan's and Endymion AS balm, a puck of T&H, AS balm and pre-shave oil, Keihl's Shave Cream and pre-shave oil.
just checked your posts and it seems no one has offered a proper welcome.....yet. Welcome to TSD, patchmark !
Never heard of shave oil. What is it like? How does it compare to the shave cream and/or the shave soap?
Pre-Shave oils or Shave oils are designed to help soften beard and add razor glide, some say you can use it without shave cream or soap (Pacific Shave Oil and Saint Charles Shave Oil advertise this) but I wouldn't do it. Most are blends of Olive Oil, Caster Oil, Glycerin and other Essential Oil. Some Folks just mix this stuff up from what they have in the pantry. Do they work, not for me but for some they may?
Interesting have not heard much about them. I have heard others on this forum say that they do not like pre-shaves and that they do not help the shave much. Myself, I use water as my pre-shave. I am glad to add this to my general fund of knowledge about shaving and shaving gear. I really like coming here becuase I learn so much each and every time I come here.
