After being away from the site for a very long time and coming back regularly for the past month, my obsession has come back and I've gone on a bit if a shopping spree. I recently purchased a Muhle r41 and a Merkur 180 which are both really nice. Now I'm currently waiting on a Cadet open comb 3-piece, a cadet TTO open comb, a RazoRock Little Bastone, a RazoRock Mission 3-piece, a FaTip Piccolo, a new Alum block and a couple soaps and creams and blades. I should be set for a while. A couple weeks anyway.

Post your impressions of the two soaps when you can. One thing about Proraso: making good lather with it is easy!
I will do that. I have a feeling Im gonna love the red one. But the Green one is probably great too. I will be able to participate in menthol-mondays =P

The scent is great and it makes piles and piles of fluffy lather. But for me at least it's more fluffy and less dense/creamy, and that's not my preference. But I'm in the minority, most seem to love it. I've got Mike's barbershop and a sample of vetiver on the way, also a puck of MWF and a Muhle black fibre brush.
I find tallow soaps are better... The ones I tried anyways. If I don't have good results from this and my incoming PdP and TSD Lanolin I will be giving up on veggie soaps for good.
Is TSD a veggie soap? I mean, obviously the lanolin isn't, at least. Try Tiki Bar before you give up on them, though. I have both their tallow and vegan formulas, and while both are great I think I prefer the vegan.
