    Prep: Hot Shower-Stirling Bath Soap
    Soap: Barbon Cream
    Razor: ’66 Gillette Slim
Blade: Gillette 7 O’Clock Green Super Stainless (3)
    Brush: Whipped Dog Silvertip 22mmx48mm
    Aftershave: Barbon

WTG-XTG-ATG (adjusted angle for my beard a bit)

I used the Barbon Cream today. It always does a great job. Four seconds to load my brush for plenty of easy, thick lather. The Slim and Russian Greenie are still friends! I finished up with Barbon AS for a little menthol kick.

    Gillette Fat-handled Tech
    Gillette 7 O'Clock (5)
    CWR
    Thayers Cucumber WH
    Pinaud Clubman AS

The Williams Mug Shaving Soap face lathered very nicely with the Semogue 1305 boar brush. Two passes and touch ups with the Gillette Fat-handled Tech and Gillette 7 O'Clock blade left me with a near BBS shave. I finished off with a cold water rinse followed with Thayers Cucumber WH and Pinaud Clubman After Shave. Now, I am smooth, clean, and refreshed...

So much for the shavecation. The need to appear before a judge today to explain the problem I have with reporting to jury duty meant a 1-pass, SAS shave was a minimal necessity. As before, I managed to re-0pen the same nick on my neck. Hopefully I'll be able to give it a couple of days to heal starting tomorrow.

    5/8 Bema
    Haslinger Schafmilch
    Semogue Mistura

Fine shave this morning, finally, a nice comfortable edge on the Bema. The Mistura came from Jesse (moz68) with the M&F for me to try. I'm very impressed with the density of this mixed hair brush. It has just the slightest bit of scritch and I believe this brush could eat it's way through a puck of soap quickly. It really picks up soap. Very comfortable to use and an excellent face lathering brush, very nice feel to it. I like it. Have a good one.

No pics today but another sweet BBS shave which froze my face off beautifully. The Neutrogena facial wash is a lot colder than the one from L'Oreal and it smells really nice, with good skincare. This Iced Cilantro soap from Mama Bear is probably the best one I ever used from Sue's collection - what a great scent, rich lather, and it's a face-freezer which also moisturizes and soothes. Thank goodness for the 444 balm and Barbon aftershave - they're both so icy and nice! ;) :D

SOTD Feb 26 -- Blade safari day 23

    Prep: hot shower
Razor: WW2 Gillette Khaki with ball end handle
    Blade: Gillette 7 O'clock Green (day 3)
    Brush: Vie-Long
    Soap: Proraso white
    Passes: 2 (WTG, XTG)
    Post: Nivea Men cool kick

For good reason, the Proraso white has become my go to soap. I was going to rotate in a different soap for today's shave, but decided against it. Not to take anything away from my other soaps but it was a good decision.

It's the "Super 2 Band Finest". The F2 is a different knot. I haven't used the F2 yet so I don't know what the difference is between the two types but I suspect I've used the F2 from a different dealer, maybe. I believe TGN now has 3 different types of finest knots.

    Prep: CeraVe facial cleanser
    Soap: Mike's unscented
    Brush: Mühle VIVO black fiber
    Razor: ShaveCraft
    Blade: Kai
    After: cold rinse, CeraVe lotion

First time trying a Kai blade. First impressions are good enough, but it doesn't seem as sharp as a Feather, and it's not as smooth as my favorite Gillette SharpEdge yellow. I'll give a few days to see. I have read some very positive reviews, so I was eager to give them a try. YMMV reigns supreme in blade preference.
