Very nice. It sounds like I'm going to love it just fine. Thanks. I can't wait. I got my order sent in already. I went with the 20 mm silver (the only one avalible right now) with the bamboo handle. Set 10 mm deeper. Wetshaver said 10-15 mm deeper so I figure I would go with the 10mm. Should be about 32 bucks all together.
Today I used my WD Silver-Tip. I washed it with some Tea Tree Soap. Rinsed it out. let it sit in hot water for about 10 mins. While I was seting up my shaving gear. It lathered up far better than my VDH Boar Brush, and just as good if not better than my VDH Badger Brush. I would say that any one that wants a Great Brush look into Whipped Dog from Larry in Texas American made Quality at it's finest. Also I have heard people say that the badger Brushes give off an odor the first time they are used. Well maybe I am lucky my VDH Badger Brush, did not smell odd and neither did my WD Silver Tip.
Well I did email Larry after work tonight, and within 10-15min I had an answer. He quickly offered to replace it free of charge! I should have thought of this before. I am really looking forward to trying my new and improved WD Silvertip! I'll let you all know how it works! Edit: Typo.

I'm looking at the same setup. How deep did you get it set? Looks great. How is it working? Would you set it deeper if you had to do it over?
I knew I should have stayed away from this thread, but no, I saw these Silver Tips and I was hooked. Let's see: Total custom and made in Texas! I checked out the WD website and I will be dropping hints about birthday gifts for yours truely starting today. I like the looks of the 30mm but it may be to big for my face. How deep did you have it set? I'm thinking about the 24mm with a 20mm depth. I want it soft but not limp.
