I managed to find a Superspeed this evening which will be on its way to me soon, not a C-1 but a G-1 so 1961 first quarter. I'm happy but the search for a mint C-1 will continue actually a search for more razors of that era will continue

I just found a C-1 Superspeed in the Classifieds which made my day, a little worn but well loved is a good sign as it means someone has used it a lot.

Only trouble is that I have less than 50 posts so can't contact the buyer ... bugger.

I'm now trying to find my Dad's Birth year and my Father-in-Laws Birth year. 1917 and 1920. I would like to find the year my Mom and Dad were married. I'm also looking for a 1964 Gillette.

I just contacted a nice fellow on this forum and he has agreed to sell me my birth year Super Speed, 1st quarter 1957 or C-1. No photos yet but you can bet there are going to be once it arrives.

No date codes back then but you have a Tech so that's a start. Also look for Gillette New a wonderful open comb razor. Gillette Regent Tech too.

You won't get a Vintage Gillette from 1993 but you could find a different brand razor from that date I'm sure the experts will be along soon to give you some real guidance.

Gillette Sensor Excel was released in 1993 but maybe not what you had in mind.
