    Prep: CeraVe facial cleanser
    Soap: Petal Pusher Fancies unscented
Brush: Oscar11 custom with HIS knot
    Razor: iKon ShaveCraft 101
    Blade: Gillette SharpEdge (yellow pack)
    After: Cold rinse, CeraVe lotion

I always love using this Oscar11 brush! The handle has different colors and luster depending upon the angle of view and the lighting. The HIS knot is big and soft, just the way I like it. Face lathering is luxurious. The PPF soap made an excellent lather, as always.

    Three pass, nice smooth result.

Two items I tend to forget I have were used this morning; my '59 Fat Boy is a long time sentimental favorite to me and I really enjoy using it. The other item is the Lustray Coachman ASL; it is a great after shave similar to a musky Clubman and seems to always gets forgotten under the counter cabinet.
Great theme this week as it will draw attention to some of our favorites that have gotten lost in our shave cabinets. This week is the time to show some love to those items! :love055:

The Groom Room Balizarde :Animatedfrozensmily: provides just the right amount of menthol freeze.

Beautiful & quick shave! The 1912s give me an easy 2 pass with touch-up BBS++ every time. Don't really care for any other SEs, so I'm not a LOSER. Right?

Prep: Hot shower, Neutrogena Deep Clean Gentle Scrub, TSD Jasmine Sambac Preshave Balm :happy108:
    Brush: Simpson 56 Best Badger
Soap: Ginger's Garden Jasmine Tobacco Glycerin (IFIHT Week) :happy108:
    Razor: FaTip Piccolo
    Blade: Bic Chrome Platinum (1)
    Passes: WTG, XTG (1, 2)
Post: Cold water splash, Dickinson's WH, RazoRock Cumba Cheech Jasmine & Orange Blossom AS lotion

In honor of my first order from JoAnna coming in - and to celebrate being excused from jury duty - I decided to end my shavecation with a jasmine-themed shave. The jasmine sambac JoAnna used for my preshave balm is very indolic/animalic; this is not a complaint, merely a mention of the thought that anyone who thinks of jasmine as a 'feminine' scent has likely not sniffed jasmine sambac before. The interplay between that scent and the jasmine/tobacco flower soap and the jasmine/orange blossom AS was really interesting to note. The PSB performed very well, but I'm beginning to think I may need to use the Bic blades exclusively in my Merkur 1904, as the FaTip may be too aggressive for the sharpness of the Bic with my skin and technique. The cold water splash and witch hazel easily dealt with the weepers, though. DFS+ results for two passes, which was impressive given the time between shaves.

    Menthol Monday
    Prep: Shea Moisture TBS Bar
    Soap: Synergy Frost_Byte
    Brush: HIS
    Razor: iKon Shavecraft 101
    Blade: Gillette 7 o'clock yellow
Synergy Coconut Bay Butter Balm before ATG
    AS: Shea Moisture AS Elixir

This was a good shave, but not as good as yesterday on the cheeks. It was a bit better on my neck, tho. I'd say DFS on both. I think I'll try an extra XTG pass instead of ATG to see if that works just as well with less potential for irritation. I'm pretty sure I'm going to back off ATG on my neck for a while in any event, if only to let it fully heal.

Guy, I'm thinking seriously of ordering the Frozen Tundra. How would you describe the scent and how good is the menthol effect? I have no doubts of the lather and skincare, but I'm curious about the other two features. :)

I have 3 Stirling shave soaps; Tundra, MITA, Barbershop, (going to get the Glacial again even though the SWMBO doesn't like it) and the Tundra scent I like the best with MITA a close second. Something in the nine EO he uses just hits my senses just right but the menthol level for some reason has dropped a little since I first purchased the puck. Maybe as I had it opened as seen in the picture for last 3 months and with the heater on dried it out some as it was harder to lather today than normal. MITA that I used couple of days ago had a better menthol kick could be his formula or possibly that I had this in an airtight container and stored in drawer.

I love the MITA so much - its scent drives me crazy and the menthol sensation is super-cold. I also have the Black Ice which has a strong licorice scent and a pretty strong menthol sensation, although it's not as heavy as the MITA. We both know the beauty of the Glacial! Thanks for the information!
