  2. Gotta go with disposable multi-blade razors.

  3. +1

Looking back, it's using those $0.69 WalMart disposable things that led me to research wet shaving.
So, I guess the dumbest shaving thing I ever bought led me to the best shaving thing I ever bought.

  7. goatee saver

And not really dumb, per se, but certainly massive overkill, Dorco makes a 6-blade cart razor with optional trimming edge.

  8. The Goatee Saver is certainly a top candidate for dumbest item being sold, but Justin's posting of this item from ebay for a 'well-used' Dubl Duck straight razor may also qualify.
Of course, if someone actually purchases it, this individual immediately qualifies for 'dumbest' buyer of shaving equipment.;)

  9. On the up side, you never know when you might need to "ice pick" someone while shaving.

  10. But it says "Satinedge!" It must shave like a charm!

Holy cow, how does that even happen? Forever chasing an edge that's not quite right?

  11. At least the trademark stamp on the tang is in solid shape! :happy088:
  12. That was actually a typo for SatAnedge. It shaves like the Devil.

"OMG this blade is so damaged! Maybe if I keep grinding it down I'll have something I can sell to some sucker."

  13. It was in 1971 just after I started shaving. There was a disposable razor, single blade made by Bic (?). There was a dial that you would turn and the blade was one continuous blade so that you could have a fresh spot when the previous section got dulled. Already I knew there had to be something better! Unfortunately it took me almost 20 years to find it!
  14. A "band" razor? Gillette made disposable cartridges of those too.
  15. Sounds like a Gillette Techmatic. I don't remember Bic doing a band razor. (I could be wrong tho.)
  16. Herban Cowboy soap. Inconceivable that any company would market a product that is so completely useless, and expect to be a success in the world of shaving.

Good product - I have two. (Wanna buy a bridge?)
