Yeah, so I have heard. I threw it in the order to spread out shipping on the brush a bit, and since Connaught has such a good price on it. And of course because it's sort of legendary.

If you end up liking it and wanting more, "Kent" soap is the same thing and can be had less expensively than MWF.

ER 1914 (ignore the Synergy). The blade exposure on this thing is crazy-even bigger than my ER 1924!

In honor of its upcoming 100th anniversary, I picked up an Ever-Ready 1914. The box is in nasty shape, and I haven't cleaned the razor yet, but I have high-hopes for it.

Not sure why the seller thought to put a DE blade in there... I am a little confused by the blade exposure. Looks like even my Push Button has more.

My sister in law got me the blue Tardis model and the fancy bow tie; a coworker got me the 50th anniversary Tardis bobble head.

I will post the razor that my wife picked up from a recent road trip when I get home. :).

Sorry it's not shaving related...yet...but just as exciting! :)

Edit: that knot took FOREVER to tie!! It is way harder to tie than a standard neck tie.

My haul for March so far has been really good. Got some RazoRock Classic (which is awesome), 50 Gillette 7 O'Clock blades, a nice Shick Injector in the case minus the key and blades; however, it don't think it's ever been used. And today, my Son and I went into an Antique store and found a very nice Gillette H2 (1962) Slim Adjustable in the case with an unopened package of Gillette Super Blue blades for $15...Awesome. The coolest part was watching the care my son took using a toothbrush and dish soap to carefully clean the case up, and then the razor till it was spotless. That was the great part. A day I won't forget. Slim.jpg P3100441.jpg
