    Clauss 5/8 with celluloid clad tang and rescaled in horn, broke the tail in rescale

    This razor has turned out to be the biggest surprise for me. I absolutely hated it the first few times I used it. But after some serious clean-up and amateur honing, it has really blossomed into a very nice razor!

    A J Jordan - The Celebrated Hollow Ground Razor I believe that I am going to put different scales on this one. The mismatched scales are driving me crazy.

    My only straight for the moment, Dubl Duck Goldedge that has been recovered by Glen some time ago and is still gorgeous since he left some of the pitting for character. Time to hit up ebay I think!

    Glen does good work. ebay can bring some good buys...sometimes or on buy sell and trade on badgerandblade. I'm slowly selling some of my excess of straights.

    Thank you. And what a nice delicate touch the edge(s) all have. The pretty oval of mother of pearl is missing in most of them, but I still like them.

    I'm told yesterday's Suzumasa (previous post) is a new generation and not NOS. I didn't know there were western style razor makers still working in Japan.
