    I have to finally admit it . . . I have RAD. I just bought a 1914 online. I am so glad I wasn't this easily led astray in high school . . . .

Mine has the nubs, and I love it...But I honestly haven't tried the one with the later 'hooks'...Ask Tom...he has both....Anybody else with both and an opinion??

Too late I already have one with the hooks. I understand they have a different blade exposure? Im in day 2 out of 30 of using it exclusively. Im going to use all of my razors that way. Lets just say some will not survive the trial...

I have some of both, and honestly I can't tell a bit of difference between them as far as how they shave. The later models with the better blade stops usually have the smooth hexagon shaped handle, which does have a much different feel than the round knurled handle.

Congratulations on a nice looking set rm84!

Thanks. The box is in nasty shape, but I don't plan on shaving with it . . . .

There you have it folks from our SE investigative reporter on the street beat....The two types of blade stops found on the ER'14's, shave pretty much the same...Cool....So that levels the playing field for all our '14's as we prepare them for the coming Centennial Birth-Day Festivities during the week of the 24th...

Are any of you guys with multiple Little Lather Catchers having your '14's doing 'Qualifying Passes' to determine pole positions...??
