Price is not always an indication of quality which a lot of us discovered through artisan soaps, etc. How about aftershaves? Do you have some top-notch, to you, aftershaves that each are ten dollars or less? Personally, I have three that I really like; 1) Florida Water A fantastic, very classic fragrance. I really, really love it to the point I'd be tempted to get a cologne in that scent (the aftershave scent does fade rather quickly), 2) Aqua Velva Musk Maybe one of the most masculine scents there are. I feel like building a log cabin every time I splash some on. 3) Coniferous by Stirling This splash by Stirling Soaps took me some time to get used to..but this non-alcoholic splash is heavy on both Aloe Vera and Witch Hazel and really, really does wonders for my skin. I got the Bay Rum version as well but as a recently outed Bay Rum-hater I must say I will stick with the woodsy Coniferous one.
Aqua Velva - both the classic blue and green Canadian version which just breaks the ten dollar limit here in the states . Pinaud Clubman - the scent takes me back to the barbershop my dad took me to when I was young, and unfortunately both the shop and dad are gone now. Any of the TSD aftershaves, love the selection of scents.
When I use it, I have become a one trick pony with aftershave. Superior 70 is simple, drys down quickly, leaves my skin feeling good, and most times is available locally for $2.25 a bottle. What's not to like?
Aqua Velva Ice Blue and Sport Pinuad Original and VI Bay Rum Dollar store Old Spice Murry and Lanman Florida Water
I picked up some Speick aftershave (used) for $10…good stuff! does that count? If not, then the only aftershave I own purchased less than $10 is Pinaud Clubman. My homemade Black River Bay Rum, my favorite—priced out, the cost to make this is approximately $10-12 a bottle, so I'm including it.
Aqua Velva, Brut, and Pinaud Clubman. But... any of the cheapies that you get at the drug store work for me as well. Old Spice, Stetson, and Florida Water are up near the top.
