Has anyone ever gotten a good result from dorco blades? I understand YMMV

I recently used an ST-301 and I must say I liked it. Sharp and Smooth. Not to plug, but WSC has them at 100 for 12 bux.

I tried one and was surprised that it wasn't half bad. IMO, they're much better than the Derby blades. For the price, I'd give 'em a try if you're thinking about them.

No. I'd rather use a piece of glass to shave. YMMV of course..

I found DG renamed versions of them for a dollar/5 and my Derbys are starting to hurt my face.

I like Dorco-301 blades rather a lot. They're somewhere between 3rd and 4th on my preferences list, depending on which razor I pair them with.

Well if your Derbys are bothering you try some Personna Reds.

Out of the four blades i have tried so far, Wilkerson Sword, Crystal, Personna Red and the Personna Med Prep. The Crystal and Wilkerson are my top two picks. The Red's i dro[[ed after the first shave, and the med preps seem to go strong for the first two shaves then i change it out. I have coming to me the Astra, Derby and Gillette Blues. I am on a quest to find a good blade. One by one i will give them all a good run through.

Hate the 300, like the 301.
But that's me. Everyone is different. You might like 'em. Your face will let you know.

Isn't the only difference between 300 and 301 the packaging?

:signs011: Trying each and every blade out is the only way to know for sure what works for you and what doesn't!! Plus it gives you a stash of blades...It's what makes a blade sample packs so economical and practical in the long run..:)

There was a big discussion about that a while back. It was determined the answer was NO, and my face agrees - there is a difference.
