  1. I'm in. Thank you for the opportunity.
  2. Im in!! my disorder only started recently because of a co worker..now im hooked and have been buying up some of his surplus. I didnt know what kind of brush i would like..so i bought one of each. i went from 0 to 5..and had 1 of each type...not to mention a scuttle. Next is the search for soaps and creams. i have been buying samples left and right.
  3. I'm not in. Good luck to everyone who enters.
  4. Nice PIF I'm in
  5. I'm in and thank you.
  6. I'm in.

I'm hurting bad, man. I haven't had a package delivery in four days!
  7. I'm in. I started with an acquisition disorder of blades. Then it went to soaps and creams. Next came razors. The last to hit was aftershaves and colognes. I seem to have them under control at the moment, but you never know when one of them my kick in again.
  8. I'm in thanks
  9. The "I Can't Believe I Bought Out Three Stores!" PIF is alive and well. However, some of you aren't playing by the rules. :ahem: Along with posting "I'm in," you're supposed to tell us about the time your particular shaving-related acquisition disorder kicked in and you went waaaaay overboard. So let's see some stories!
  10. I can't remember if I said that or not so I'll just post a story. I got ASAD first and went to every Walgreens, CVs, rite aid, WalMart within 30 miles and bought a bottle of aftershave I didn't have. The result, I now have every aftershave I can buy at a near brick and mortar. Just starting out so I don't have anything too crazy. Yet.
  11. My "disorder" started in Reno Nevada. I had to catch my plane in 1h45m. I knew of an antique mall which had some straights. Had a nice sprint to the store bought 6 nice blades. I made it back at the exact moment my fiancé acquired blind fury disorder. We made the plane, someone forgot to apologize to me though.
  12. "Blind fury disorder." Classic! :happy102:
  13. A few months in, 3 de razors, hundreds of blades, 3 brushes (one of each animal hair) and various different soaps.
  14. Oh, I'm in
  15. My "I bought out 3 stores" Acquisition Disorder story occurred when the three local CVS stores all put 'Shea Moisture African Black Soap Shave Butter' on close-out (65% off!), and with my 15% discount coupons, I came home with 8 large tubs of the stuff. I considered PIF-ing some of it, but most folks who try it,unlike me, dislike the shave butter.

Not in this 0ne, but a great PIF!

  16. I'm in...who needs additional incentive? I recently discovered creams for bowel lathering and think I'll be transitioning from puck soaps. Not exactly a selection in the local drug stores to choose from though and like you I'm not looking to drop $10 a tube online for something I may not like....I have kids to waste plenty of my $$ already, LOL! MY RAD started about a year and a half ago after researching the FT Rocket that I had recieved from my grandfather some 20 years ago. I had used it on and off between Christmas gift electrics and finally decided to become faithful to it. I ditched the can of barbesol, bought an old spice mug and some Col Conk soap (my favorite soap is their Almond BTW). I've since aquired a few DE razors and a straight as well as a boat ton of blade packs. When I find SS's or Techs cheap I give them to friends with a couple packs of blades and a puck of soap...3 full time converts in a year! As for picking the winner, IF I win, please don't send me the cow pie :) Thanks for the opportunity, GREAT PIF.

  17. I'm in! Thanks!!
  18. Old School - If you have a CVS or a Rite Aid nearby, I recommend The Real Shaving Company cream. (Only one of those stores carries it, and I can't remember which one it is.) It's only $4-5, and lathers like a dream.
  19. Did you read Old School's post? He's a wet-shaving evangelist! :happy088:
  20. What can I say, wetter is better :)
