Does the soap smell like the repel bug candles to anyone else?

Or a way over-powered Irish spring. But I found it locally!
That's the most I can ask for. Does it lather well?

It smells like a bug candle to me also. As far as lathering, it can be very difficult for some people.

Just read the thread. We've had many of them, but the last one should do it.

Aelfred, I used Williams for several decades only because it was what I started with and I was totally ignorant to all the products out there. Joining this forum opened my eyes to a whole new world of good products and now I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. But please don't let any of us sway you from trying or using it. You may love it. There are many people here that use it all the time and really like it.

This is spot on. I still love VDH Luxury, but there are so many other options. I can lather Williams like a fool, and plan on using it this summer to see if it WILL keep mosquitos off.. spend a summer in Mississippi and you'll understand my sorrow. This is the only way I'll use it. IF that works. That's a big if.

Yeah... What's the link to lathering it? I couldn't lather it AT ALL. I was really dissapointed
