    What's not to love?

It's got bacon (or sausage), eggs, cheese, and.... wait for it.... A WAFFLE!

I confess it's a lot like that sweet McGrifter thing sold at that chain that uses some clown to push its goods...

Certainly a one time event - they will probably drop the product before I think about trying it again.

I don't know they seem to be making money hand over fist, in my area. I drive by one every day of the work week and there are more cars in their drive way than at McGrifter thing sold at that chain that uses some clown to push its goods...

Drive-thrus? Those are extinct (and illegal) in my part of California. According to our special research idling your hybrid for 3 - 5 mins produces more CO2 than stop/restarting your vehicle (never mind the added fuel used) so it might damage the happiest place on earth (according to Oprah). What does that mean? My co-workers, one homeless guy, and myself were the sole customers risking our health at this establishment on this fine Waffle Taco morning, for the sake of mankind nonetheless!

My day . . . my weekend, in fact . . . is looking pretty good. My wife's birthday is Monday, so the plans are: (1) We're going to hear one of my friend's blues band tonight. My wife doesn't know I'll be singing a Robert Cray song to her . . . with no rehearsal. Gulp! (2) Tomorrow we're going to Lancaster, PA, to hunt for razors and pie birds. (3) Sunday is worship at Baptist Tabernacle. (4) Monday night we're having dinner at a local Italian restaurant. Linda doesn't know that six of our friends are joining us. That's when she'll get her gift - a beautiful, black leather, concealed-carry purse. (Am I a romantic, or what?) Have a great weekend, everyone!

    micah1_8 Poor Heartless Prevert

    Well...

Yesterday was kind of a tough day. The neighboring school district, where Jim works, had a custodian pass away from a heart attack, then later, while I was helping a little old lady from church with her computer trouble (Lord, is there a way you can give me patience without testing it?), I got another call--we lost our dear friend Ken Mabry from church. His was kind of a sudden thing, too. About 2 weeks ago, he started having trouble breathing, went to the doctor, they told him there was a mass in his lung. Within 2 weeks, he lost 20lbs, and became wheelchair bound before he could get in to see a specialist. When he went Tuesday to see the specialist, they put him in ICU, and he died yesterday. His poor family is distraught. It might be a blessing though that it wasn't a protracted illness, because I'm pretty sure their financial situation is less than ideal.

Also, I watched Logans Run Gattaca for the first time. I liked it.

Oh, and our preacher's wife had her baby yesterday too! Bouncing baby boy. I tried to tell them not to dribble him like that, but they're young and impetuous.

LOL! No, "Nothin' But a Woman" (changed, of course, to "Nothin' But My Woman"). The one song he ever did that wasn't about his woman cheating on him/him cheating on his woman/him killing the man who cheated with his woman.

Sorry for all you and your friends have gone through. My wife and I will be praying for you all.

I started watching "Gattaca" yesterday too! I got bored, though.

From "The Dumb Husband's Playbook": I was at my coffee shop this morning, talking to my wife on the phone. When we finished, I started talking to the young lady next to me, telling her all the stuff I had planned for my wife's birthday. I happened to look down at my phone and saw a text from my wife: "Hey Richard . . . Your phone is still live!!! I can hear you talking about me!" Duh! Fortunately, she heard only half of what I have planned.

Eek. And it was at that point that you said, "So... can I get your number?" right? Just to throw her off.

Waiting for a tow truck. Looks like a seal blew on the car, hopefully everything is covered under warranty. God I should have bought a new car instead....

Had a new car that blew >8 head gaskets. Was in the shop more than I drove it. Had loners just before they went to auction. People at work thought I was selling cars.
The last time they "fixed" it was right before the warranty was up.
Yes. Gone the day it came back.

I have a 95 Ford with 198000 plus miles on it. The rear main seal leaks. As a matter of fact it leaks more oil than it burns. But it's cheaper to keep it than buy a new truck @ about $60.K I can put a new motor and Rans in it for about 7,500 bucks. aint cheap. I feel your pain I have been there done that a time or two.

Well I bought this at the time because the wife wanted a Crossover bad, not understanding a Super Cab F250 has more than enough room for 6 people PLUS I can tow....now she's starting to see the light, I just don't want to dump 15k of negative equity into a quality truck cause it shoots me in the foot for another few years.

Sadly, it's the 2nd one this year. Cafeteria staff lady at the Primary school campus had a heart attack and passed back before Christmas.
And now "Smiley". Seriously, in all the years I've worked here, I've never, EVER seen him not smiling. Precious gentleman. Standing out in pouring rain directing traffic for buses and cars at pickup time, always smiling. It almost seems weird to think that a custodian at an Elementary school darn near everyone's favorite person in the district, but it's true.

In other news, my great aunt finally got to the hospital in Little Rock Wednesday (after two days waiting for an open room), about 10 hours later they finally got her into MRI, and at least the good news, didn't find anything. But, she's still in pain.

In other other news.....CURSE YOU XKCD!!!!! Now I can't stop playing this stinking 2048 game!!!!!

So I didn't get a chance to touch and stiff the stuff on the ground until a minute ago when he towed the car away. I was off. Every drop of power steering fluid that should be in my car, is on my driveway right now. I have a feeling the last time the line was fixed, it wsan't secured and ended up with something rubbing against it for the last little while...
