Just received these from Amazon today, but I used a Persona Blue in my Fat Handle Gillette Tech (38-45) and had one of my best shaves ever. I know my technique has improved and I can get BBS shaves with other razors than the Jaws. Now I want to buy 100 Personas. Will the AD's ever end.
Astra are good blades. My 1st 100 was the Personna Lab Blue, as they're the only blade that I get a good shave using my R41.
As a few folks around here know, I've got something like 1100 of them in stock for use in the event of Shavepocalypse. So, they must be good blades.
Blades don't go bad so having a stash of ones you like is a good thing IMO. You never know when one of your favorites will be discontinued. Astras and Labs are probably the best deals going on blades right now too.
100 Astra SPs was my first bulk blade purchase, but I split them with a friend and gave some away. They're great blades.
I got a sample package of Astra SP DE Blades. I like them, I will probably order some from Amazon also.
Astra SP blades are in my top 3. I will definitely bulk order them again. I usually get mine from bestshave.
I have ordered 100 of each from amazon in the past week. Feather Plat, Astra SP, Derby Extra, Personna Blues. I am leaning to 100 Shark SS, but not until I try the five blade pack I that is coming with an eBay purchase.
Looks like their 100 blade packs are rather limited. Either that or I am missing the obvious. (again)
If you like the Astra SP's you may want to consider trying out the Personna Vikings Sword also....A nice sharp, smooth, blade,although not quite as inexpensive as the Astra SP's they are close and I like them better...
