I know the place he works....even that may not work. Oh, by the way, turns out the wireless LAN controllers were locked up, and it was a bad switch at that campus, that caused all the issues. Replaced switch and rebooted WLAN controller, all seems well....of course, I'll be at the campus before 7 in the morning to make sure everything comes up alright....depends on how soon I can go to bed after keeping an eye on the weather (which could cause some more issues for tomorrow)
Well... looks like the guy from the region center will be here around 2:00 to help me build a new server (hopefully we'll have enough data restored from the old one that we can do it pretty quickly) and get us back to full capacity. Looks like we're going to have to completely reconstruct Active Directory from scratch, though. Ugh. I really wish I had more time to plan this stuff out. I'd like to change the way some things are set up, if I had the time to work it all out.
Sad day at our house today.......going to a funeral for a young family friend. Committed suicide Sunday night. 18 years old great kid you would have not known he was having problems. I cannot imagine what his parents are going thru!
Word... I've made a lot of changes to AD structure since I've been back, starting to rethink since of them and start doing more security groups rather than individual directories
So sad, so young. When I was a senior in high school the same thing happen with a good friend. Sad.....
I am after a b-day party for my 6 year old boy. He invited only the boys from his kindergarten, so we had the house full of 15 6yrs old screaming boys I am quite exhausted and I look forward to some serious Zzzz...
Lord, I ask for Your comfort upon this family who are suffering a tremendous loss. I ask that Your Spirit bring peace, reassurance and rest upon all those who knew this young man, whom You now have in Your Holy presence. In Christ's mighty Name, I pray these things.
