    Prep: Hot Shower-Stirling Bath Soap
    Soap: TOBS Avocado Cream
    Razor: Gillette Slim
    Blade: Perma-Sharp (1)
    Brush: Whipped Dog Silvertip 22mmx48mm
    Aftershave: Krampert’s Frostbite

WTG-XTG-ATG (adjusted angle for my beard a bit)

I loaded up the Slim with a new Perm-Sharp and lathered up with the TOBS Avocado (excellent scent), one of my favorite creams! The TOBS creams almost lather themselves. Great shave today! I finished up with Frostbite….always a winner!

This Torrey is just a fine shaver. I've decided to give it a new pair of shoes when I get the time. I've been saving some nice scale material that should work nicely. It was my first shave with WSO "White Lightning" shaving soap and I'm impressed. Nice light scent and provided a good shave with excellent post shave skin feel. I look forward to using it again tomorrow. Have a good one.

A 3-pass shave this morning with a menthol chill from the anise-scented 'Black Ice' soap. A refreshing way to start the day!

Got 4 days out of the Feather. Still does not "feel" dull. No tugging/pulling, etc. But does not shave as smoothly, and got one weeper on the chin. Time for retirement. I'm going to switch back to the Family Dollar Dorco and see what the difference is. I will likely bounce back and forth between these until I use up the Feathers. Should give me a good indication of the differences between these two.

6/8 C.F. ERN, Full Hollow, Spike Point
    Proraso PSC
    Rose of Bulgaria SC
    GT G4 Scuttle
    Lijun Finest Badger
    Dickinson's Witch Hazel
    Gold Bond Moisturizing Lotion
    Rose of Bulgaria ASL

Picked up this ERN the same time as the last batch of straights. It was a blade only and needed some cleanup and scales. It's a pretty large razor and none of my spare scales (salvaged from other re-scales) would fit it's size. After cleanup if was so nice I wanted to rescale it with something decent so I picked up these Ox Horn scale blanks on the bay for it. I used black buffalo horn from my broken scale scrape pile for the wedge. It turned out very well and the razor is awesome. I have got to agree with Oscar...Mr. ERN make a right fine razor! Heading out for the Pacific coast for a couple of days. Have a great week Gents!
