Semogue 2000 Refinish

Works with any wooden handle - just sand down to bare wood, stain, poly. Super easy.

 

Any know if this is a problem with the Semogue Owners Club brushes as well?

 

Since this was done over four years ago, I'd like to know how often you have used it, and how it has stood up.

 

My rotation has grown to 18 brushes; they all get used in rotation of shaving every day. Of course I was using the 2000 more frequently back then, but it has held up great. There are zero issues. The cracking and flaking the original finish exhibited is now non-existent.

 

It's good to know that the Minwax finish is durable. Thanks.

 

I only have a sample of one, but both my 2000 & SOC have held up well over the last couple of years with no finish issues at all.
