A detailed review as promised. http://theshaveden.com/forums/threads/7-days-of-utopia.37924/#post-671051
Interestingly, this is a different razor on the same product page. So if you wrote a great review for the original $9.99 Utopia, your review now looks like it's for this razor, an entirely different one.
I don't think they did anything underhanded on purpose, I'm thinking they needed a new replacement razor to sell and this is what they ended up with. But now here's an unknown razor with quite a few high ratings on it.
That is why I stopped providing reviews on Amazon because this situation occurs more than I think it should.
Mr. Shaverman is correct, the vendor updated the original posting instead of creating a new one. How do I know this for sure, I went and called up my original order, clicked on the original byline, and it carried me to the current razor rather than showing me what I purchased. http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00CCGK...UTF8&psc=1
That's how I found out too. I'd read on a different forum they had gold now, and it reminded me I wanted to write a review of the original one. I went to go do that from the email they sent me and while the pic for the review was the same, out of curiosity I tried the product link and the gold razor popped up. I replied to the email they had sent me requesting a review saying that I'd like to review the razor I bought, but wouldn't be since the new razor is up on the same product page. They responded about an hour ago saying I was wrong and that the review would go to the correct razor. I responded and said they were wrong, and that's why the new gold one has a lot of reviews already, but they all reference the original $9.99 razor and some have pics. No response yet.
