    SUNDAY
First shave using the Fougére version of the MdC soap. As with the 'regular-scented' Martin de Candre, the puck lathers easily and yields a good amount of the slick stuff. It doesn't require much. The fragrance is distinct, but not overpowering (with some soaps, the scent grows stronger when lathered), and is more subtle than expected. I do enjoy the earthy, herbal fragrance of the Fougére which I found very similar to the regular version—with maybe a bit more there.
Overall, a very nice 3-pass shave!

    Have a blessed Sunday, all!

It took me way way too long to send this razor to Glenn to create an edge-wow, what an amazing shaver. Smooth and fantastic heft.

    Prep: None
    Razor: Schick Grip
    Blade: Schick Injector (1)
Soap: Tiki Bar Soap Surfs Up
    Brush: Muhle Black Fibre V2
    Post: Captin's Choice North

Spur of the moment shave. Have tried the Tiki 2 times in the past with poor results. Was just screwing around with it using my best brush for lathering and got a fantastic lather, couldn't help but shave. Fantastic comfortable shave with zero prep. Just did one WTG pass. Captin's North is great stuff too, good smell, no burn.

Prep: hot shower, Neutrogena Face Wash.
    Brush: Turkish #6 Brush.
    Razor: Schick Krona.
    Blade: Personna Med Prep.
    Cream: Speick.
Post: cold water rinse, Alcolado Glacial.

This was my first time using Speick. It performs well, but I can't get past the scent of it. It's very old mannish and lingers. I don't want to go around smelling like that. I'll use it for days when I'm not going out.

Corinne says the cream makes me smell like a real old geezer but I don't care - to me, it's awesomely-scented. I LOVE it! :love055:

Very nice razor. Did you do the restore? I love those yellow lined (celluloid I think) scales. I have a couple straights with them. Anyway sharp (pun perhaps) razor!
