hey guys i really dont know if i wanna share this.




oh i guess a little, but i absolutely disclaim any damages you may inflict upon yourselves by any actions you may take after reading this;


today is my birthday, im half a century old. i was an officer for fourteen years. shaving was required, but hated. man i wish i had done this thirty five years ago. the past few months i have been into de shaving. bliss times zen.
back to what i was saying, today ups brought me a present from my wife.

ENTER THE BEAST

all i can say is wow
this thing is awesome. couldnt wait to get off work, shower, condition my face, soak my brush, whip up some proraso green. i put a persona lab into the beast. two passes later, my mug is smooth, no stubble. one little spot of blood on the end of my chin. this razor is huge, no problems hanging on to it. the weight of the razor is enough to glide nice. i have read all i could about this beast, all i can say is they are correct. so i will say what i read a dozen times. not the razor to start out with. but i will say this to you experienced guys, dont miss this ride. the beast is awesome. good luck and remember dont blame me david

the beast is a Merkur model 39c slant razor it's nicknamed the sledgehammer or the barber pole I called it the beast

Awaiting the arrival of this unique Montague blade with extensive spine scalloping...

 

MWF is on the way. Also I ordered a nice ceramic bowl. I almost forgot, I have a soap from TSD store!!!!

When it arrives I will. I put my scuttle away for the summer, so I'll use this. I face lather most of the time, just couldn't resist..

Just recieved my Semogue Owners Club Boar Brush.....I likey alot!!

 

Just got my Nag Champa and Tea tree shave soaps from Stirling Soap and found they were nice enough to include a sample size Electric Sheep puck as well. Haven't looked up what's in that one but sounds and smells interesting. Keen to take one of them for a spin tonight even though I am starting on a new blade from my sample pack as well.

 

Sweet brushes, those SOCs!
