I love that blade style, I have 2 Simmons Hdwe razors and one torrey with that style (well very similar if not exact) blade and LOVE shaving with them!

Its funny but when I have Mycarver do a restore for me I like for him to at least take a few swipes with the blade as well. Dont know why...just do.

I have tonsorial gem in a 7 day set of Wm Elliot blades and it is an excellent antique razor.

I have an MK31, 4 and 9 but would love to have the larger MK33 like you have.

They are a tough razor to find. I was VERY lucky when a fellow on another forum responded to a "wanted" ad I'd placed. The razor is NOS/mint and the scales are the nicest ivory I've ever seen. It's a honey for sure.

Keep your eyes peeled-they're out there!

I had offers from two sellers in Sweden and one in Belgium for around $250 to $300 and decided against at the time.

I think that if they were in fine condition, today that would be money in the bank!

Yes, they were in top notch condition. I could still backtrack and find one from those guys, but I've been trying to cut back on buying and do more selling. More than 100 straights left.
