I did a test lather. Easy to lather, nice and slick.

-Proraso Boar Brush (I find the 48 too large)
-10 x Treet Black (Carbon Steel)
-10 x Rapira Swedish SuperSteel

 

An SRD 3" Premium I strop with an extra fabric and a Naniwa 12K from them as well.
Razorock P.160 and 100 Astra blades from Italian Barber.

Got the USPS slip for the SRD shipment today (06/09/14). Darn Post Office is only open hours that I work. Will have to wait until Saturday to pick it up. I guess it wouldn't fit in the box at the mail kiosk for the neighborhood.

 

I'm out of control! I just ordered Mudder Focker and RR XXX aftershave and Milk..I'm getting ready for no buy July..

I'm waiting on a tub of the (in)famous XXX soap from Joe at italianbarber.com. I LOVE the RazoRock Classic cream-soap and can't wait to try the fabled XXX. Right now the order is still showing as "Pending" but I'm hoping it'll be here by Friday so I can give it a test shave over the weekend!

 

I don't believe this is rightly called being "carried away"! I see no brushes or holders for razor blades. I believe you showed remarkable restraint!
