If you don't feel like shaving you shouldn't, it should not feel forced =P see it this way, you will get to spend a little bit more time testing your new soap tomorrow or when the weather cools down today

Guys, my XXX is really soft, it was in my mailbox for most of the hot day, can I put it in my refrigerator?

here's a lot of posts about guys keeping similar soft Italian soaps either in a cool spot or in the fridge or even in the freezer (long term storage obviously), so I shouldn't think you'd be doing any harm just putting the XXX in the ol' ice box for a spell. ;)

Van Der Hagen Luxury Shave Soap
Made Rite w/ TGN Boar knot
    Gillette Fatboy F2
    Shark Super Chrome (2)
    CWR
    Thayers Cucumber WH
    Pinaud Clubman AS

The Van Der Hagen Luxury shave soap face lathered well with my Made Rite/TGN boar brush. It provided great cushion and slickness. Two passes with my Gillette fatboy with Shark SC blade got me a close comfortable shave. After my cold water rinse, I finished off with Thayers Cucumber WH and Pinaud Clubman after shave. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

I really am looking forward to using my "Old Corps & Oscar 11 Custom Brush. It is becoming one of my favorites. It really seems to lather better than my other brushes. I feel that it is one of my best if not the best brush that I have. It was a joint effort between myself and Steve aka Oscar11. Thanks a million. Steve. If it worked today why change it tomorrow. I will be changing my blade in the morning.

I do not see why it would hurt it. I wouldn't leave it there too long though.

    Synergy Week day three
Today I used Classic Bay Rum for the first time, and it's a winner. It has excellent performance and skin care that HTGAM is known for, with a strong bay rum scent. This one does not smell too much like cloves, so I don't feel like my face is getting a ham glaze. Krampert's Finest Acadian Bay Rum matches very well without the heaviness of a balm. This is an excellent combination to which I will return often. My HIS is just a lather monster... Effortlessly making more than enough thick yogurt-like lather. It's a great match with the wide tin.

    Prep: RR/HTGAM lime menthol
    Soap: HTGAM Synergy Bay Rum
    Brush: HIS
    Razor: iKon ShaveCraft 101
    Blade: Personna lab blue (2)
    AS: Krampert's Finest Bay Rum

My #6 horsehair brush is an awesome lathermaker for creams - it really whipped up some serious lather from the Ingram Blue cream from Egypt which is terrific stuff. It has a stronger menthol effect than the original British version and has a perfect consistency, so it doesn't become watery and runny. The 444 balm and the Barbon aftershave couldn't have felt better after this lovely shave. ;) :D
