My Dad passed away this morning with me sitting by his side after a 1.5 years fight with cancer. He was a terrific father and grandfather. He did it right and I learned from him my entire life. I already miss him.
Prayers for peace to you and all your family. I am so sorry for your loss. May your hearts and mind be filled with the joyful memories of your father's life always.
I've just been informed that I'll be moving at least 4 projectors and installing 3 smartboards this summer. I need stronger meds, stronger coffee, and weaker bosses. Or a better paying job at a movie theater.
bgdaaaa. This whole month and a chunk of last month. bgdaaa. kids have been sick, including one round of shingles. Who knew kids could get shingles? I have been sick. Wife has been sick. School ended. And the car broke down while I was driving a crew of church members to a conference in San Antonio. And not just a casual, minor problem break down. We're talking steam and radiator fluid spraying out onto the dairy-queen parking lot, car rendered undriveable kind of breakdown. There's a whole lot of nothing between the RGV and San Antonio. I am very thankful we did not break down in such a spot. We did break down in Pleasanton, TX, which is just a touch more than nothing. They do have mechanics there, thankfully. Pleasanton is four hours away from home. I'm overnighting the keys to the mechanic of choice, and the currently dead car will be towed and then, and only then, will I find out what's wrong with the dang thing. bgdaaa.
