    Tyr's Day:

Prep: Hot shower, Healthy Accents Daily Renewal face cleanser, TSD Jasmine Sambac Preshave balm
    Brush: Simpson 56 Best Badger
    Soap: VDH Scented
    Razor: Merkur 41c 1904 OC
Blade: Baili Super Stainless (1) - Thanks, Sarge
    Passes: WTG, XTG (1, 2)
Post: Cold water splash, Bloc Osma Alum, Dickinson's WH, Aveeno Active Naturals ASB
    Cologne: Burberry Brit

I had not reached for either variety of the VDH in a long while, so I decided today was a good day for it. I knew it would set a good lather baseline on which to test the Baili, and I was not disappointed. Compared to the Dorco-300 I just discarded, the Baili is smoother, but not any sharper to my senses (both the Bic and Bolzano are noticeably sharper on my face); there was even a slight bit of tugging on the XTG pass, but nothing major. Two passes got me DFS results, and the alum found no tender spots.

Good to hear that, too :) traditional shaving helps a lot to the skin.

I know. I still need to practice, but it's just getting better. Except for those days I increase pressure without noticing... Those days are not good =P

David, you might try Carmex for your lips. It's a classic and supposed to be good for coldsores. (Not sure about SunBurn) For just sunburn try Solarcain that really cools. Hope that helps.

There are two sticks in the bowl indeed.
I also added mint and eucalyptus oils on the surface of the soap, and I had an extreme rich lather with menthol. Not as cooling as proraso green, but the scent was very close.
