1. Received a stick of Arko in the mail yesterday. Used it this am and I like it! Decent lather, a nice old school scent and what feels like a nice shot of menthol- good stuff and cheap!
(Comment on title- stupid spell check, lol)

  2. I thought we were playing Marco Polo. :D

Arko stick doesn't contain menthol as far as I recall.

  9. it gets no love from central Florida. I'm gonna give it about a month then try it again. if it's still a less than glowing experience. I'm going to squash it with a puck of vanderhagen. I read they did that with Williams(squashed together) vdh has good smell, arco good lather
I'm gonna try to be open to it next time
  10. It is always surprising when something so cheap turns out so good. Works with Boar or Badger. I hear it works with your hands, but you need a coconut codpiece and to act like a barbarian.

  17. To quote Martha Stewart, "That's a good thing." and yes, it does work.

I own numerous Badger and Boar Brushes but the Vie-Long Horsehair is the only one I use. It's over two years old and it's beginning to show its age but it works great.
