What was your first 100 DE razor pack?

Buying your first 100 pack of razor blades, DEs in this case, really indicates that you've found something that really works for you.

I'm curious - what DE razor blades did you first buy a 100 pack of?

(Me, I'm about to buy a pack for myself and am going back and forth between GSB and Personna Platinum (red pack)...

 

Shark Super Chrome was my first.

I would get the GSB.

 

My first 100 was Derbys, but i had outgrown them by the end of the pack. Since then i've stuck with Gillette Super Thins but i'm on the lookout for something new now

 

Personna Blue Lab. Ladas Stainless Steel are very good. My 5th 100 pack

 

My first was Personna Red and my second was Personna Labs.

Whatever you get make sure you like them.

 

Derby... I was a noob, didn't get a sample pack just ordered a 100 pack of Derbys... They were a little rough but they were acceptable.

 

Big Ben, thanks to Gary's wise tip. First and probably only brand I'll ever buy bulk. Does everything I need, exactly how I like it, and I haven't noticed it be finicky about razors.

 

My first blade was also the first 100 I ordered - I sort of dove in with both feet.

Nothing wrong with not testing the water when it's hot. You picked a good one.

 

Astra Keramik blades when Astra ceased production.

 

Astra SP's. Bad choice! Bought them when I started, hadn't used them, just based it off of what people said. Horrible for me then, bad for me now. I traded them to someone on another site for the Sharks they bought and didn't like.

 

Astra SP was the first blade I liked. Then again all I had tried before that was Derby.
I still think it's an 'ok' blade but for me it doesn't work as well as others proved to.

When I was a newb, I was always surprised how many guys were willing to PIF away them Derby blades to the new guys. Later on I figured out why. It was still a nice gesture.

 

Feathers, 2nd 100 pack was Polsilver SI. Still the only two modern blades I use. I've got some vintage Wilkinson stainless that I like too. I'm rationing them due to cost.

 

I ordered persona labs. still using my first hundred. I got s bunch of older blades a few members have given me. I haven't found one I liked better than the labs. I got lucky I guess. I had a few tucks of feathers, I liked them, but they only last two shaves for me.

 

Box of Astra SPs. Still have plenty as I've added so many other that I should have enough of the SPs t0 last until…oh…forever.
