Grinding the stick in a bowl makes it better by reducing the scent somewhat.

Thank you, kind sir. I have another interview with someone else tomorrow but am very hopeful about today's...it has all the elements I wanted but didn't expect to show up in one place.

I made three changes today. I face lathered the MWF with my Frank Shaving finest badger brush (1), and I did two passes and touch ups with my Gillette NEW (2) and Astra SP blade (3). It was a great shave. After a cold water rinse, I finished off with Thayers Cucumber WH and Pinaud Clubman after shave. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

Another awesome shave which was so enjoyable - this Permafrost stick is pretty well a vintage item now because it hasn't been in production for several years. It gives great lather and freezes a man's face off, with excellent skincare. The Penguin is practically as cold as the Rubby Dubby Doo and it smells quite nice. My Sharp blade seems to be holding up very well, so no complaints so far. ;) :D

    Pre: Shave Secret
    Brush: VDH Boar
    Soap: Arko
    Razor: Frankentech
    Blade: Derby Extra(3)
Splash: Shea Moisture Shave Tea Tree Herbal AS Elixer
    Post: Azzaro Chrome ASB
    After: Aqua Velva Musk AS

Early morning shave. I was kind of half asleep for most of it but still came out with a BBS shave! Last shave on the Derby blade. Still felt pretty smooth and sharp. These may end up in my rotation. Still having issues with the Arko puck. Just wont lather decent for me. The scent has totally grown on me, but nothing I do gets decent lather from the thing. Now I want to try the Arko cream to see if its any better. I keep hearing people praise Arko, so I don’t want to give up on it but it’s getting frustrating. Topped of my sleepy shave with the Aqua Velva Musk. I think I may like this better than the Ice Blue Classic…
