Prep: Shower and face wash with Stirling Barbershop
    Lather: Tiki Set Sail vegan
Brush: Vie-Long Lord Randal mixed badger/horse
    Razor: Gillette New style razor
    Blade: Astra SP (4)
Post: Cold water rinse and Captain's Choice Lime

Tiki Set Sail is a nice soap. I've been using it for over a month, with only a day or two off. Light load times result in plenty of slick lather. Loaded for maybe 10 seconds today and had enough lather for at least 4 passes, even if I only made 3. DFS today.

I used this method WTG-XTG-ATG this morning. Today I did almost every thing the same. I made 3 passes this morning. Not too impressed with the Burt's Bees Natural Skin Care for Men Bar Soap ! It was so-so not as good as Dr. Bronner's Magic Soap. Because I like the cooling effect of the Alum, I used my RazoRock Ultimate Alum no razor burn or "Nicks or Weepers". I had an excellent "DFS". I did get a Rudy Castiel Clean Shave ! A Cold Water Shave and I used my ATT Atlas Razor. With the Short Handle

To say it's been a while is an understatement. The shave was just as I remembered. Excellent glide from the soap/cream combo, just enough scritch from my badger, and well, the 7OC black is probably my favorite blade ... except maybe a Voskod or an Astra, those Feathers are pretty nice too. ;)

I'm all settled in Oklahoma, surgeries are all done (carpal tunnel release on both hands) and I'm much too anxiously awaiting my return to work in two weeks!

:) I sure do miss you guys. Have a great day! Make it amazing!

Hot shower, body wash Irish Spring Gear, Shampoo, Old Spice Swagger. Facial prep, Axe Peace

Today's soap choice was from the RazoRock line Cumba Cheech.
Featured brush from the rotation a Shavemac Silver Tip

Changed the Feather Blade over to the Rocket, from the open comb. It is funny how some blade / razor combos work better. The Feather in the Rocket, delivered an outstanding shave.

Cold water rinse, splash of Lord & Master, Arko balm.

I have four EO bottles. Each has 20ml of essential oil capacity. Almond and Lavender EOs don't make the lather cold, but mint and eucalyptus oils really cools the lather. I have a freezing shave when I add a few drops of eucalyptus and mint. Even more colder than Proraso green's. The weather is boiling hot here and nowadays I prefer freezing shaves with the help of these essential oils.

    Odin's Day:

Prep: Hot shower, Healthy Accents Daily Renewal Facial Cleanser, TSD Jasmine Sambac Preshave balm
    Brush: Simpson 56 Best Badger
    Soap: Van Der Ginger's Frankensoap
    Razor: Merkur 41c OC
Blade: Big Ben Super Stainless (1)
    Passes: WTG, XTG (1, 2)
Post: Cold water splash, Bloc Osma Alum, Dickinson's WH, Aveeno Active Naturals ASB

After letting the nick on my neck heal yesterday, I approached today's shave with my milder razor and our resident BurmaShave's favorite 'baseline' blade, the Big Ben. The Van Der Ginger's frankensoap provided ample cushion and glide once I remembered the right water ratio, and I was otherwise careful with the prep. The feedback on the blade is clear but not loud, and slightly uncomfortable without being 'tuggy.' It reminded me of how I felt about Shark blades, on first use. No bloodshed, though the alum stung, and DFS results for 2 passes.

The MWF has completed in expanding to fit its bowl. It lathers just by looking at it. It has not earned a mere place in my rotation, rather it made my rotation obsolete.
