Welcome aboard. Great find. Do you know the correct Gillette ID Code for your razor?

I did the same to grind up a puck of Williams Shaving Soap to make Van der Williams aka Patrick's Blend.

There aren't too many creams or soaps available in Sweden from what I understand. There were a few very good sticks a long time ago, but they were discontinued. :( :(

It looks like it cleaned up pretty good. The crud helped you get a great deal. As long as it is a good shaver, that's enough. If you wanted to upgrade, that razor would probably bring you more than $25 on the bay.

Just another frosty pleasant shave. Ingram gives me the best shaves of any product I have. It has lanolin in it, and I tend to get along real well with that stuff. I am seriously considering getting rid of all my other DE's since they keep getting neglected by the Krona.

Not pictured: Myrsol Formula F sample. This stuff smells too good. I wish I could describe it better. I guess it has a slight powdery note to it.

No, they get treated the same as any other blade. Just a good rinse in the razor and then back on the shelf. Stainless blades really are very low-maintenance IME. I think they actually get a bit smoother after a couple of shaves to tell the truth.

    Noxzema Classic Clean
    Mitchell's Wool Fat Shaving Soap
    Frank Shaving Finest Badger
    Gillette NEW
    Astra SP (3)
    CWR
    Thayers Cucumber WH
    Mennen SB AS

I bowl lathered the MWF today just to change things up. It made more than enough lather. The Gillette NEW and Astra SP seem to be a perfect match. I made two passes, and that is all that was required for a close, comfortable shave. I washed a lot of lather down the drain and did my cold water rinse. The Thayers Cucumber WH and Mennen Skin Bracer after shave topped off a really great shave. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

    Prep- Hot shower
    Sudz-Real Shave Co.
    Brush- Semogue 1470
    Razor- '68 Lady Gillette
    Blade- Feather Hi Stainless(6)
    Post- Aqua Velva Musk

Can't believe I got 6 shaves out of the feather. Blade's done, though.
Still really love this razor. Great shave, and the AV Musk goes well with the Real Shave cream.
    Have a great shave, everyone!
