Thank you, i have tried a couple so far and liked them. My blade testing is giving bad results. So Im sticking with astras for a while Untill i get better technique =)
It will. It will sting just a little bit on the places you did good on and punish you where you put to much pressure on the razor =P When I started I was prone to put pressure on the razor, I did not have a good time hahaha
Omelmad, yeah too much pressure is the main thing I am having problems with. Still can't get past the thinking of trying to get things done it one pass like I did with cartridges. Old habits die hard with this, that is for sure!
Seems that way since I already have 200 of these same blades. Based on the patent number on the blades, these are actually Gillette Spoiler blades. This batch I bought to give away 100 as a birthday gift to a buddy in a couple of weeks and the other hundred holding as a Christmas gift.
I'm waiting on a Dubl Duck Special No.1, Gillette Silver Blue (5), Gillette Sharp Edge (5), Polisilver Super Iridium (5), and Maggard Razors Fougère Sauvage. I waited til the last minute for "No Buy July" they should both be here Thursday.
You're on the list for July buddy http://theshaveden.com/forums/threads/no-buy-july-participant-list-rules-and-other-stuff.38954/
Snuck in one more order before No Buy July. Ordered a couple of Stirling's new alcohol-based splashes, I got Bay Rum and Black Pepper Lime, plus a couple bath soaps.
I got 30 blades en route and a Gem razor...I think this was a clog pruf. Either way I'm set for a while may just stock up on blades in August/September
A couple purchases I made just days before signing up for No Buy July: - Norpro dip warmer. The econo scuttle! - Omega Pro 49 boar brush. My first boar brush...I had to know.
Nice, really like the scales on that brute. What the width on this bad boy almost looks like a meat cleaver
