I haven't even looked at any auctions or sites related to shaving products so I'm feeling good about going the distance.

Think I will try out some things like cold water shaving and also unpack two Stirling soaps samples that have been sitting unused for about a month on my shelf

This is way easier than quitting drinkin'.

 

I quit smoking and snus cold turkey. It was great! It was easier that this

 

Quitting the snus will be very hard. I am very find of my General.

 

Where are you from? Those are the ones I used. First general white, general white strong, general original and then general original extra strong. When i used 2 of the last one I knew its time to stop.

 

Haha, no I ordered some soap maybe 3 months ago and got two samples. I smelled them and then put them away not thinking about them.
This No Buy July is making me explore my shelf and drag out things that have just been lying little used

That's my plan this month too. I've got the Stirling samples I received a week or so ago, and my plan is to through all of them this month.

 

I almost pulled a Joe! I needed to buy a new bottom bracket for my bike tonight, and found the one I wanted on Amazon. I wasn't really paying attention when checking out, and ALMOST bought some Proraso that was in my cart!! Caught it just in time. Phew!!

 

You need to go stand in the corner, have your SWMbO beat you with a razor strop 50 lashes. :ahem: Or better yet with a "CatO'Nine Tails"Then "Keelhaul" you. Have her do it twice so she gets you attention!:ahem::whip:

My question is.......Can my wife buy something for me? "Shaving related" and have it count as I am still honoring the No Buy in July Pledge?

This no buy July is not to difficult. I know i need to Work on my technique. And the decision to stick to proraso red has made it easier.
