1. Went to Radio Shack yesterday. Picked up a sweet deal. They had a Jawbone Jambox marked down from $150 to $49.95 and I had $10 off coupon from a previous purchase! These things are made of magic I tell you.

Coincidentally, if you haven't discovered it yet, songza.com is full of awesome. Especially the Vintage European Cinema Soundtrack section.

  2. Brazil is so done. I can't stop laughing at this.....well it stopped being a football game and turned into a wholesale slaughter.
  3. Twitter has already exploded congratulating Miroslav Klose for being the top goal scorer in World Cup history now. WOO!

  4. I'm hoping there won't be riots in Brazil tonight. That was far worse than a loss for the team.

  6. Germany 7, Brazil 1. Biggest loss for Brazil since 1920, and one of the top 10 biggest wins in FIFA history for Germany.

  12. I need a network engineer. My new firewall is kicking the crap out of me.
  13. I'm seeing the girl from page 3 of this thread after work again tomorrow night after work. Should be interesting.
  14. I was just informed that I have to draw a topo diagram of our Frankensteinian rat's nest of a network before a DPS audit tomorrow. Joy of joys.

I mean... uh... sorry to hear that, Micah. :(
  16. It's only about 210 workstations; more than half of which are currently unplugged (so no auto-discovery). Nearly every classroom has at least one 5 or 8 port switch in it, if not 2. Then there's around 90 laptops--all wireless. How do you even draw those into a topo map?

  18. thankfully, on closer review, I saw that I only had to draw the specific topo-path of one workstation. Much less daunting, but still a pain in the you-know-what.
  19. Decided to work on my clutch on my 1997 F-150. Its been giving me fits. Did a little bleeding with help from my son and it still drives like it has 170,000 miles on it. But its paid for and has never made me walk too far.
  20. I performed a bit of auto repair this past weekend with my son. New belt.
Coincidentally, I did a little bleeding as well from my knuckles constantly hitting the engine block...;):p
