exactly. speaking of auto repair... electric cooling fan on TWGW's car isn't coming on. Not sure if it's the fan, the thermostat, or the relay. I don't think it's the relay, though. So, looks like I've got some fun troubleshooting in my future. Also, my ZTR mower won't go. It starts, the blades engage, but it simply won't go backward or forward. The belt isn't loose, so I'm assuming something is wrong with the hydrostatic trans. Not cheap, and not fun to fix.
Funny how we'll bust open our knuckles on a car and keep goin', but get a paper cut and we're done for the day.
I put an tensioner pulley on facing the left (wrong way) last night and then noticed it only after I put the idler pulley back on... I cranked down on both of them... knuckle busting Thursday here. The only bad part is the tensioner is a.. eh Hm.... to get to. Oh yeah... Leif only slept a few hours last night. I did to. Fumes, can anyone send me some fumes? My fuel gauge is past E.
I had a great day. I went to shoot at the outdoor archery field (in a local park.) I figured that I would be there for about an hour. I should have known better. Shortly after I started, the Kims (another family I know from the club) showed. Their kids are champs & shoot for hours. They are also very sociable. So I'd shoot a little, schmooze a little, shoot some more, etc. 5 hours after arriving, I finally went home.
@micah1_8 I sure hope everything works out for your friend. It's good to see there are still decent people out there.
I'm not sure how I feel about the girl from Page 3 and Page 5 of this thread. I think I need to meditate upon this before we get to Page 9 here.
Saw a pack of wild hogs tonight. Despite my best efforts, I hit the last one in the line. Decimated my bumper, and left an injured pig for the sheriff's office to put down. I guess my friday will be spent dealing with the insurance company.
I have been bad at flossing so I got a hole. On my way to the dentist now to fix it. It's gonna be fun lying there thinking I should have flossed wen they told me repeatedly =P
Surely you've heard the popular insurance company tagline: "You're in Good Hams with Allstate!" (…or maybe not….and don't call me 'Shirley.')
See, now the whole time Micah was tellin' us this story, I was a-thinkin'.... prep it, stuff it with garlic, and roast it in a backyard pit for a few hours. OMG yum!
