Just wanted to share my purchases. All in all I think there is about 40 EUR / 60 USD worth of stuff here, including a beautiful Valet v2.
I tried to stay away from western stuff like Nivea.

The cheapest shaving cream is the compass which cost me approx. 50 cent.

One is ny mother-in-laws fathers daily shaver - unknown make, but most likely German. The other is a valet autostrop version 2.

That is a nice haul. BG was where I rediscovered wet shaving. The prices can not be beat.
I am wondering if you know about Rose of Bulgaria. It is one of my favorites. It is made in the same factory as Pika and Spatia.

What a great trip. I would love to see Bulgaria some day.

I have tried 3 of those creams: KAPO, Barbon, Compass. I still have the Barbon and it has become a permanent member of my Den. The other 2 did a great job though.

Yes, I know it very well.

My girlfriend has a small webshop offering rose and clay from Bulgaria and I have been granted a section there to sell some shaving products. I have about 50 tubes of rose of Bulgaria shaving cream, 50 bottles of aftershave and 50 bottles of balm in stock, just waiting for my part of the shop to get online. Stay tuned :)

It is great stuff and I use it frequently.

It is highly recommended. Just stay away from the tourist traps ...

My wife and I vacationed there 5 summers. I lived there for a year. It is beyond a doubt my favorite country in Europe. The language is extremely difficult to learn well, but you can always find someone who speaks English and Russian is understood throughout BG. And, it is inexpensive. I highly recommend a vacation there.
