Had an amazing weekend & thought I'd share the good news here. One of my homebrews just took Overall Best of Show at the NYS Fair this weekend. Grand prize is that it will be brewed by Saranac Brewing Co. & entered into the Great American Beer Festival Pro-Am competition in October. Very excited would be an understatement. To keep my ego in check, the universe decided to give me a flat tire on the way home...but that didn't put a damper on my mood! I was also able to visit some antique stores over the weekend...no luck on the shaving side of things. But that was probably for the best w/ my No Buy July pledge

Striking while iron is hot...or warm...I am degreasing and scrubbing all kitchen surfaces (25 cabinet doors and drawers). Next will be spackling holes, then sanding, then priming, then painting. Hoping I can finish up this week, what with all the other stuff I gotta do. Fuzzy warm thoughts most appreciated.
