How to show off my belt?

I have noticed that there is some kind of trend of guys showing off their belts. At least this is what I see around me. How can I do this as well? I have some decent belts, but when I wear them, they are covered behind my shirt. And when I try wearing smaller size of shirts, I start to look way too fatter, since I am a little bit overweight and have a belly. I want it to look something like this:

Just never do belt and suspenders. My father told me never trust a man that can't trust his pants...

 

If you want to look like that, you have to have that build. If you're overweight, you're not going to look like that.

 

You'll have to slim down or adopt a new style for your size.

 

You may need to try different shirts that will provide you with what your looking to do. A tee shirt under a button open shirt. May provide coverage while exposing the belt.

 

Just tuck your shirt in. Otherwise, it will cover your belt.

 

Sorry, but there's just no getting around that.

 

Put the belts on display!

 

Maybe do some kind of across the chest thing with it, like a bandolier.

 

Doing this will certainly make a fashion statement and tell the world you mean business.
