Look out for: Sandwiches in the DVD player dishwasher soap for candy detergent for drinks tea or coffee near the edge of the table windows, doors, stairs drawers corners of tables (eye height!) You might consider crawling on all fours through the house to see his point of view. You may be surprised by what you find!

Yesterday, I get a frantic call at work from my wife at home regarding a potential gas leak ('the garage just reeks of gas!..), prior to calling me, she had called PG&E, who tells her to have all occupants leave the house until a PG&E (Pacific Gas & Electric) service truck arrives. I dash home to find the service rep, using a 'gas-leak detecting' wand, wandering the perimeter of our garage. "No leaks inside that I could detect," he claimed, "but there is some leakage at the meter. The wind is blowing it inside the foundation vent and into the garage." (hence, the strong gas aroma inside). In the next 30 minutes he installed a brand new 'SmartMeter' to replace the old one installed 20 years ago. No more leaks. No more potential home explosions. All is calm. All is bright...
Paypal scam going around again ... this one is claiming that your account has been limited and "click here" to resolve this issue. The email looks very professional until you take notice of the *.cl sender's domain.
It is bittersweet I guess. My truck is fixed and ready to be picked up from the garage, however it cost me $1,100.

house furnace, clothes dryer and water heater all are gas. Two of those items are in the garage. Isn't that the truth? And don't think for a moment that post-San Bruno, PG&E isn't painfully aware of gas-leak hazards. The rep was onsite within 30 minutes of the call.
Ouch! Having just dropped nearly $2k on repairs on my Volvo, I can relate to the mixed emotions of having one's vehicle back: joy to have my vehicle back & safe once again to drive, but still stinging due to the financial bite.
