How's Your Day - July 2014

So true. 4-5 years ago I smelled gas at our meter, took 3 hours to respond. And now 30mins with your call. Yeah, leaks have become priority one. The poor people that suffered.

 

Cabinets finished. Look good (well, better) if I sez so meself.

 

Oh, nothing. Gotta go move a couch into my van. Say, are you about a size 14?

Phew! Glad all is well in the end!

 

I feel ya! Last month: new tyres, brakes, timing belt, brake system pipes. Total fun cost me just shy of € 1.700.

 

Gas / petrol and a match would have been much cheaper.

 

Yeah, but SWMBO would have my head. And that would ruin my shaves!

 

That is almost $2,300 USD!

 

The sacrifices we make.....

 

That's because tyres are much more expensive than tires, especially the nitrogen filled ones




I know it's just a difference between American spelling and British spelling, I had to stretch for this lame joke but I would bet tires and auto repair are considerably more expensive in the Netherlands

 

And you don't even want to know how much tyres cost!

The missus has a book club meeting tonight. That means I get the house to myself for a while. I'm going to feel so lost. It's been so long since I've had alone time. I mean, so many options... movie, video game, nap, pants, no pants? The options are endless!

 

Beer, guy movie, salty snack, no pants.
