My vote would go to the Pinuad "Virgin Island" bay rum...I like the price and the scent which I.M.O. has pretty good longevity for a bay rum....The only downsides for me are I can't find it locally and it "BURNS" like napalm on a roughly/poorly shaved face...However a plus to the burn is that it will let you know pretty much instantly just how good/irritation free a shave you managed to attain, which can help you fine tune your face prep and shave technique...

After trying numerous bay rums the last 3 years, I will be returning to Dominica.

Man, I wish the Burt's Bees bay rum aftershave balm was still available - it was terrific. Smelled so nice and very cooling and soothing.
